Backwoods Labradors

 

Boone is an AKC/UKC registered 3 year old neutered fox red male that we added to our home and program last May.  Boone is tested and clear for the 15 genetic diseases we test for and is DD dilute clear.  He has OFA normal eye, heart, patella, and full dentition.  He went in November to have preliminary hips and elbows done. He passed his elbows but was diagnosed with Mild hip dysplasia.  We took him for a 2nd opinion and he failed his pennhip x-rays too so we made the extremely difficult decision to neuter him.  That being said he is a great pet and hunt partner and will live the rest of his life here with us.
